Start The Day Off Right with a Power Breakfast Smoothie!

Confession........

I rarely eat breakfast unless it's in the form of a smoothie.
​

I don't know what it is, but I just cannot get myself to eat in the morning.  

​Do you ever feel that way?


Whether you need a quick breakfast option (because we all know breakfast is the most important meal of the day, right?)

​OR 
you're looking for something new to try, I know you'll love these smoothie recipes.
​
Strawberry Banana Smoothie

Ingredients:
  • 1 cup vanilla almond milk
  • 1 cup cold water
  • 1 scoops of Vanilla Vegan Protein Powder
  • 1/2 a Banana
  • 1/3 cup of Strawberries
  • 1 cup of Spinach
  • 1 tbsp of chia seeds
  • 1/2 - 1 cup ice

​Directions:
Blend all ingredients together in a high power blender.
​

​Chocolate Peanut Butter Smoothie

Ingredients:
  • 1 cup dark chocolate almond milk
  • 1 cup cold water
  • 1 scoop of Chocolate Vegan Protein Powder
  • 1 cup of Spinach
  • 1 tbsp of cocoa powder
  • 1 tbsp of organic peanut butte
  • 1 cup ice

Directions:
Blend all ingredients together in a high power blender.

The Berry Blast Breakfast Smoothie

Ingredients:
  • 1 cup vanilla almond milk
  • 1 cup cold water
  • 1 scoop of vanilla Vegan Protein Powder
  • 1 cup of Spinach
  • 1/4 cup of Blueberries
  • 1/4 cup of Raspberries
  • 1/4 cup of Blackberries
  • 1 tbsp of flax seeds
  • 1/2-1 cup ice

Directions:

Blend all ingredients together in a high power blender.

NUTRITIOUS ADDITIONS!

Chia Seeds are high in protein, fibre, essential fatty acids and calcium. They also keep you feeling full and satisfied because they absorb 10 times their weight in water, forming a bulky gel. 
​
Ground Flax Seeds are high in omega-3 fatty acids, fibre and antioxidants. Add 1 tbsp to smoothies as a source of "Healthy Fats"

Hemp Seeds are a great source of protein. 1 tbsp contain approximately 7 grams of protein.
